Are you passionate about basketball and looking to make a difference in the lives of athletes? If so, you may be the perfect fit to become a coach for the Anoka County Cougars, a Minnesota Special Olympics team. While basketball experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement. All that is needed is enthusiasm and a willingness to help out. As a coach, you will be responsible for leading training sessions and helping the athletes reach their full potential.
You will also be expected to attend all practices and games, as well as any other events related to the team. In addition to these duties, coaches must also complete a background check and attend a mandatory orientation session. This orientation will provide you with all the information you need to know about the team and its policies. It is also an opportunity for you to meet the other coaches and volunteers. Finally, coaches must be willing to commit to the team for at least one season.
This commitment includes attending all practices and games, as well as any other events related to the team. It is also important that coaches are able to provide support and guidance to the athletes. If you are interested in becoming a basketball coach for the Anoka County Cougars, don't hesitate to reach out! We look forward to hearing from you and helping you become part of our team.
