At ARAA, we take the safety of our players very seriously. That's why we have implemented mandatory protocols in the state of Minnesota. If you're looking for more events and activities, check out the Anoka County Parks events calendar. You can also join an experienced birdwatcher on a walk through one of Anoka County's beautiful parks.
During the walk, you'll have the chance to observe or hear more than 20 to 60 species of birds. A list of Minnesota birds and a map of each area will be provided, and binoculars will be available for you to use. Anoka County also offers three housing rehabilitation programs to help low- to moderate-income homeowners. The Anoka County RSVP connects people age 55 and older who want to volunteer with non-profit and social service programs in Anoka County.
The correctional probation and institutional programming units for minors are continuously striving to improve and alter the situations faced by young people to include counterproductive behavior that is repeated in new criminal behavior. The Office of Surveyors is responsible for maintaining maps that include property boundaries, Public Land Service records, government corners, paved county roads, and boundaries of properties owned by Anoka County. If you're facing an immediate behavioral health crisis, call the Anoka County Crisis Response Line at 763-755-3801. Anoka County parks have 11,500 acres of open space where you can walk, bike, fish, or just enjoy a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Adults age 60 and older have access to many high-quality programs and services through Anoka County Senior Services and other community programs, which can help them and their families learn about community resources.
The Anoka County Senior Employment Program (SCSEP) assists underemployed, low-income county residents who are at least 55 years of age to obtain paid part-time employment in the community.
